On November 18, 1928, the mouse who sparked a Magic Kingdom made his official debut in a little short cartoon called "Steamboat Willie". The Disney company considers November 18th to be Mickey's official birthday. So happy birthday, Mickey! You've stood the test of time, and your appeal remains eternal. PLUS you have a new big brother to celebrate your day with you - Oswald, the Lucky Rabbit (when's HIS birthday, anyway?) Have a big piece of (cheese)cake and enjoy your day. (And don't let that lovable party pooper, Donald, spoil it!). I'll be wearing my fave t-shirt bearing your likeness to celebrate! :)

Oswald's birthday is September 5th (1927) :) He is 85 so that makes Mickey 84.

Don't forget it's MINNIE's birthday too lol Happy Birthday Mickey and Minnie :)

Wonder how old you had to be to be a steamboat Captain back in 1928? :cool:

Edit: OK, steamboat pilot...Pete was actually the Captain. :D
