Happy "Birthday" Disneyland!

I was watching (again) the Modern Marvels shows on WDW and it made reference, of course, to Disneyland and how it's success evolved into WDW. The show also stated that work began on Disneyland on July 21, 1954--52 years ago today. So, Happy Birthday Disneyland!

And before I get flamed for posting this in the WDW General Discussion, without DL, we would not have WDW.:lol:

The work began a year before so its 52 years since they first started construction.

i was talking about the actual "birth" day, the day the park opened, i know the OP was talking about the construction start day which i guess is the... uh... conception day?
