Happy April Fools Day

A most magical silliest day of the year to all of you! But to insure we don't make any silly mistakes when preparing for a Disney vacation, please post the most foolish Disney decision you've made. My top 2 were back in the eighties on one trip I didn't see a need for a camera and one the last trip I didn't pack enough food for the ride down.

Pre-Kids we had gotten Park Hoppers and used it quite a bit. When we had kids we got it and didn't use it to hop at all that first trip. Then the next trip with kids, I got hoppers...and we didn't use them once. You would have thought I would have learned after giving away money the first time...but NOOOOOOOOO.

On our last visit in January, I somehow I forgot to pack any underware or socks for my hubby. Thank goodness for Walmart...

I follow Chip & CO. on facebook and fell for the article they posted today about all the parks switching over from Coca-Cola to Pepsi. I got excited for a minute, and then it dawned on me...

Dumbest thing I did was take my MIL with us one year...talk about a nightmare...REFUSED to ride ANYTHING except small world, haunted mansion and the great movie ride( she was only 64..my freaking grandmother went on ToT and RNRC wellllllll into her 70's)...other than that...SHE JUST SAT THERE IN THE PARKS FOR HOURS FOLLOWING US FROM RIDE TO RIDE DOING NOTHING AND COMPLAINING THAT THE WALKING WAS TOO MUCH...and then would complain when we said...oh ok why dont u take the little one back to the room for us so we can hang with the older kids...REFUSED to get a wheelchair so the walking wouldn't be too much...And here's MY FAVE STORY OF THE TRIP...we had lunch at Prime Time and she COMPLAINED to us that the whole concept of the restaurant promoted bad manners for kids..meaning that trying to egg the servers on by sitting with your elbows on the table gave '' kids the wrong idea''...AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST...after lunch my husband, myself and the 3 kids had a FP for ToT...so we told her...sit and relax finish your dessert...we gotta run! THIS IS WHAT SHE SAID....'' I can't sit here at this table with 6 empty plates and people think I ate all this food''....AND SHE WAS DEAD FREAKIN SERIOUS...and followed us to ToT to sit and wait while we rode....NEVER AGAIN!

We arrived at CR garden wing for our honeymoon, jet lagged a little worse for wear after our wedding celebrations . It was quite late we just wanted to eat and sleep so we ordered a large room service pizza it arrived quickly . Upon opening it turned out to be two small pizzas and a medium in the same box, why had they not sent us just one large pizza ? .....it slowly dawned on us ! We felt rather silly to not have seen it straight away .

forgot my tickets for MNSSHP at home. thankfully all I had to do was go to customer service with the credit card I used for them so they can look it up. crisis avoided, headache from my wife...not.

Our, my DW and I, most foolish was booking a grand gathering trip with her family. Mother in Law and Sister in law at POFQ, one Brother in law and family at Pop, another Brother in law and family at Old Key West and our family at the Contemporary. I'm sure stampeding cattle are easier to stop and gather together than it was to get these people together everyday. But the worst was at a buffet when my MIL took a zip lock bag out of purse to take a "little something for later" I was horrified. My DW, DS and I agreed Never Again! WDW will only be for us.
