Jerry Lewis celebrates 90 with a movie release announcement
Jerry Lewis is celebrating his 90th birthday Wednesday in a fitting way for an entertainment legend — with the release announcement of his first major movie role in over 20 years.

Lewis' starring role in Max Rose will be released in New York and Los Angeles in late August before a further expansion after Labor Day, the film's producers announced on Wednesday.

Wow. Can't believe he's 90! Prior to his telethon work in later years, I recall laughing at his silly humor when I was a kid. My brothers and sister and I watched quite a few of his films; and a number of those were even more popular in TV reruns, well after the fact.

I watched Trumbo the other night and there was footage of him from an Academy Awards ceremony and I wondered if he was still around. This answers my question!
