I see some of us still chiming in today. Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th. I fired up the smoker early this a.m. and getting ready to cook some ribs (slow and low) for the next few hours before I light off some. How is everybody else doing?

Listening to the Future World music loop, looking at the piles of trip stuff that has overtaken my dining room table (courtesy of my children), enjoying this site (as always) and getting ready to head to my sister's for a swim & BBQ (although I'd rather go to your place for the ribs & for better company that doesn't criticize my Disney obsession

What a lovely sentiment. Thank you, and I hope you all had a grand 4th of July! It was poppin' where I live, as the city council lifted the ban on fireworks 2 weeks ago after 22 years. It is 2:22 am right now, and the warzone didn't stop until about 1:30am. We were surrounded! Other than that, my house was the place to be the 3rd and 4th for swimming and BBQ - a lively festive atmosphere with family and friends. I don't work tomorrow, but I do wonder how the non-partakers will be doing. Well, if you can't be at Disney..............
