Wow, time does fly. The first time I went to orlando was July 1990. We all got extra passes to Universal for free, celebrating its opening.

You only think they were good because they're not there any more... the reason those rides have been replaced is because nobody rode them... people would rather do Twister than Alfred Hitchcock! Crazy I know but that's the facts... how can you say Mummy isn't better than Hanna-Barbera?

Anyways, HAPPY 15th UNIVERSAL!!! http://www.universal-excitement.com/ << a good universal site...

I don't care if nobody rode them or if the Mummy is a great ride. Don't tell me Hanna-Barbera and Kong weren't good. Jimmy Neutron was nothing compared to the Funtastic World. They may not bring it back because then they'd be accpeting they made a mistake, but I bet Jimmy won't last as long as FW. And I also bet Universal Hollywood will get an increase in attendance come January, since it's the only place in the US one can see the the King, and he's got a brand new movie coming out.

Hanna-Barbera was getting old and outdated... I don't like Jimmy Neutron at all... it's just Barbera with an updated movie... but Shrek 4D over Hitchcock, now that was a good move... Mummy over Kong, that was a good move... Kong had turned into Jaws... if you didn't have a good speiler, it sucked... if you did, it was only good because of the speiler... yea it was nice to see Kong and all but personally I like the Mummy better, and judging by the lines Mummy keeps, I'd think it's safe to say that the general public does too... I'm eagerly awaiting Jackson's Kong remake as well (KongIsKing.net)... but some rides just get old and need to be replaced... next is Earthquake... then BTTF, Jaws, ET and before you know it, none of the original attractions will exist... it's just how it goes... 20K was a good ride, when it worked, but it has to go... that's just how things are...

I seriously doubt they'd get rid of ET, BTTF or Jaws (which is getting a new game, by the way).

In any case, you're entitled to your opinion as long as you don't try to hammer it on others. The way you talked to Blink Me was wrong.

I was bitter because I'm tired of hearing fan boys rant and rave... always wanting something new but not wanting to sacrifice anything for it... first it was Halloween Horror Nights and people wanting dual parks for over 3 years... then once they got it they whined about how terrible it was... then people would talk about how great Kong was but months before it was even rumored to leave if you asked them they would say it was "ok" ... I'm sorry if I caused trouble... I'm not one to argue on forums because that's plain ridiculous... I got a little heated... sorry... my bad...

It's all good. Sorry if I sounded too harsh myself. It's just that, you know, opinions are opinions, and it's nice to put them out on the table as long as we don't step on eachother's toes.

Happy Birthday to my least favorite park in Orlando! :)

As long as Jaws and Earthquake are there, it will never move up in my book. But I will say that I think Twister is ok (Good to see every couple of trips), Shrek 4D is fantastic, ROTM is good (not great), and T2 3D is still the best attraction in the park for my money. MIB is starting to grow on me a little bit (I was extremely disapointed the first time) and BTTF still has some sentimental value for me.

But all Disney fans should celebrate USF's birthday. They brought the much needed competition that Disney hadn't had in Central Florida. The theme park guests are the ones that benefited there.
