Anyone see these packages they have up for next year on Disney.com. Im thinking about heading out there in June 2005 for the 50th celebration. But now I understand that Space Mountain is being refurbed until July, how can one of their major rides not be ready for the 50th celebration witch starts May 5th. Anyone thinking of going.

The Space Mountain rehab has turned into so much more than originally planned, and it is simply impossible for it to be ready by May 5, so they are planning on Disneyland's actual birthday, July 17. I wish they would add packages for more than 3 nights! We are going August 3-10, 2005 :) Crowne Plaza Resort, and it will be our first trip to Knott's, Universal Hollywood (I am very anti-Universal, so this is a big deal!), and LA, where we are taking day trips. I can't wait to see the Disneyland Resort again, all dressed up for its birthday! I was impressed with it last time I went, so I'm sure this will rock!

Universal Hollywood is a billion times better than Universal Florida. You won't be sorry you went. It just has this atmosphere that USF doesn't have. Plus those awesome escalators. :D

Yeah, I'm pretty psyched...they have a better Jurassic Park River Adventure, an awesome backstage tour, and it seems they are getting a better Mummy ride...and Disneyland has a really good deal: for $80 per adult, you get transportation from the resort to LA with a tour including the Music Center, Mann’s Chinese Theater, Beverly Hills, the Sunset Strip, Rodeo Drive, Melrose Avenue and entrance to Universal Studios Hollywood! Not bad at all! and a ticket and transportation to Knott's is only $49...such a steal, I couldn't resist. It may cost more to fly to Cali, but vacations to the Disneyland Resort are dirt cheap! $2000 for four adults at the Crowne Plaza Resort for 7 nights, 6 day park hopper, 1 day at Knott's w/ transportation, and the LA tour w/ Uni Hollywood...a steal!
