Hanging LPS

I have been contemplating this idea for a while and have decided to post it here for consultancy. So, take an enclosed ride vehicle (a cab), attach a magnet to the top of it, and put another magnet on the sealing for it to attach to. If you were to use LPS technology to control the movements of the ride vehicle, would the magnets affect this? Or would you have an innovative new vehicle design to use in attractions?

I think it would depend how strong the magnets are.... But then again, if it was used for attraction Technology, I'd make sure none of the metals in the magnets used are well... common. With Jewelry, foot braces, pacemakers, and other used metal items, I bet you'd pretty much have to go though a TSA-style check before you got on the ride...

Don't get me wrong, I think this is cool idea! I think the trick would be to make the magnet strong enough to carry the vehicle, but weak enough to not effect the guests safety in the vehicle....

I used to have this idea with magnets on shoes and on the floor. A 'Hover' skating rink... Something like that would look a lot cooler in front of Spaceship earth than the Leave a Legacy rocks...

I think he means that it's a suspended vehicle. The guests wouldn't be upside down, they'd be up around the ceiling

No she means they would be hovering over the floor using the resisting force of magnets.

Really ...the same thing happened to my second cousin's mother's sister's grandson. He said he "neva fell ah thin"
