We were there all week last week. Our 2 1/2 year old caught the bonafide flu which ended in an ER visit Sunday night at midnight due to puking 10 times and running a 102.5 temp. The rest of us caught some sort of upper respiratory infection, all the while we used the sanitizer stations and didn't touch anything.

Fun stuff in the Disney world's Petri dish.

this is a great idea, how many times have you seen folks walk out of the restrooms without washing their hands and with so many little kids touching everything it makes a lot of sense.

I shame them as often as possible. I will literally call them out on it as loud as possible, given the surroundings. People can be filthy McNasties all they want at home, but not around thousands of others. Just...yuck.

This is a good move. Surprised this hasn't been done until this year. They're very common on cruise ships, but people still end up sick there .... but anything helps I suppose.

I know sometimes at home we have some bad habits, like not covering when we cough or sneeze but it'd be nice if people were more aware of that kind of thing in public. As well as the washing of their hands.

Agreed this is a good move, my wife works at a bank and to save money they stop buying hand-sanitizer.
We went to Sam's club got her own large bottle.

This is a good move. There are so many germs being spread at the parks... We've had one (and usually more than one) person get sick a day or two into a trip and be forced to miss meals, park days, etc. Not fun at all.

When I was 12, mid-trip I became sick with a fever and didn't have the strength to get out of bed or eat. I missed 2 days at the park. Still have vivid memories of how devastated I was missing out on all that park time.
