Having followed the other threads on the subject, im just curious to know how bad the lines for the actuall attracations are. I really couldnt give a fig about the houses just want my coaster fix.

I would like just the opposite information. I've generally heard Fear Factor and Scary Tales had the longest lines, and I was going to start from the passholder area and hit those two first... followed by Max Carn, ScreamHouse, and Evilution. Would this be a good strategy in hitting the houses?

Well, judging from what happened with ScreamHouse on Saturday we averaged a 2 hour wait for the night and Friday between 60 and 90 minutes. I heard Scary Tales is slow-moving because... well, it is through a queque line. I haven't heard anything about Fear Factor.

Snapper, can't tell you anything about the rides. I would imagine since it's without lights on that the lines would still be rather long. It all depends on when you go I guess.

Fear Factor had horrific lines from what I heard, sometimes capping out over two hours. Heck, just 20 minutes after opening the house had a one hour wait due to it's atrocious capacity.

Hopefully Universal will can the whole "pitch black" idea next year as HHN gets more and more crowded.

As for the rides, at one point on Saturday night Spiderman supposedly had a wait of two hours.

To anyone who has done all the houses, which ones do you think could be missed and why… Assuming we won’t get through all of them this Friday. Sigh… I remember going last year on a Friday and feeling like I had the whole park to myself. Guess things have picked up a bit this year. :(

>>>Same price?<<<

No.

Peak night $51.00
Non peak night $29.00

I'm definitely not wasting my money on them, because $51.00 is a goddammed ripoff, I don't care how crowded the place is. To be honest, I was wondering how in the hell they honestly think they can charge this much for those booklets, but when I look at the 32k+ attendance night they had last Saturday, I can see how they get away with it.

It's a shame, I don't even think Pressler would stoop that low.

WOW! That’s more than it costs to get in! <sigh> Guess I won’t be doing all the houses this year. :(

Yikes!!!!! That is a lot of money. I definitely want to do Dragons and Hulk. Without express passes being given, there will definitely be an issue with time. :veryconfu

After thinking on it for a while, I suppose the high price is sort of justifiable. I mean, if the park were THAT full and they were to offer the books at a more reasonable price there would be two big lines where you would have what? A front of the line access with an hour wait and then another one with a three hour wait or some other ridiculous arrangement? At least this way the number of people using it stays small enough that front of the line really is front of the line and won't interfere with people waiting in the regular line as much. Still, I think they walk a fine line with all of the front of the line books...

isn't Cat in the Hat supposed to be open, too? I find it kinda funny that rides like Dudley Doright and Popey woudl still be open during HHN, since they probably don't really help the mood any (lol), but I guess anythign to lower the lenght of the other lines.
