HalloweenTime at Disneyland

Hey,

Haven't visited Disneyland for about 11 years now. First and only time was June 1999, and I got to see some of the construction of California Adventure at the tail end of my trip to Los Angeles while I was stationed in Alaska.

Considering a trip back to Anaheim, in the fall, likely in mid-October. For the past three years I have vacationed in Orlando at WDW and seen the sights, but considering cross-country flight for a few days of R and R at Disneyland.

For those of you who have visited Disneyland in the fall, can you fill me in on what exactly takes place at the parks in Sept-Oct, other than the Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion transformations.

I see on Disneyland.com that there is a special evening separate admission party. Is it similar to Orlando's not so scary Halloween party? It mentions extra hours for park operation and trick-or-treating, but is there any special parades and/or fireworks, a la Boo To You and Happy Hallowishes at Walt Disney World?

The Disneyland HalloweenTime evening parties are on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Thanks!

Hey so during the normal hours of the Park, Ghost Galaxy (a great and very creepy overlay) and HMH (one again a very good overlay) and of course the Halloween decorations.

Now the Special Events
*Let you dress up
*More Villain Meet and Greets
*Trick or Treat in the park
*Less lines on all attractions that are open
*Exclusive Fireworks (Halloween Screams) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlb_iPg1g7Q

If you have any other questions just ask

Jerrod, thanks for the insight and info. The Screams fireworks show is similar to WDW, but is still pretty cool.

Although very familiar, Disneyland is still quite different and hasthat unique charm. I am leaning toward a fall trip to Anaheim.

Kind of got sidetracked in the you tube zone and hopped over to watch the Halloween fireworks show from Disneyland Paris.

France is next on my list, as well as Japan.
