We will be at WDW on Halloween. We have done MNNSHP MANY times and want to try something else. Are there festivities on Halloween at DTD? TIA:wave:

Unfortuantely a year too late, as you know. The Adventurers Club Halloween Jubilee was pretty sweet at Pleasure Island. Other than that ???

Unfortunately I don't think there's anything else going on at WDW for Halloween. Universal (gasp) has Horror nights that look fun but pretty intense if you have younger kids.

I've been to the Universal one (Halloween Horror Nights) and it's pretty intense. I wouldn't suggest bringing a kid there, it's very die-hard scare the crap out of you experience. You're also allowed liquor throughout the park, with booths set up to sell it and they have waitresses with trays of shooters walking around

HHN at Universal is amazing but way to intense for younger kids, yea they do a trick or treat at DTD as i saw lots of kids dressed up down there last year but it was very busy!

We did Halloween in 2007, we actually had ressies for Raglen Road but canceled them on Halloween morning. We found out that POP (where we were staying) was having their own Halloween Party. They had tables set up with all kinds of arts and crafts, coloring contests, limbo, a DJ and our surprise guest was Goofy dressed as a pirate. We partied all night with the kids and also a cm was walking around with a wagon with play-dough and giving it to the kids that had really cool costumes on. My DS was tigger and she loved it! :)
If at all possible I would love to be in Disney for Halloween every year, including all of the years I trick or treated plus my sons, this was by far the best halloween ever. We came home with a huge bag of candy and fun treats.
Oh, the best part was when we were done parting, we went swimming. :):)

Hi, other than the MNSSHP going on at Magic Kingdom I don't think anything else will be going on aside from the wonderful decorations at the parks and the Deluxe Hotels expecially nearby WDW.
I am sure there are some special dinners that certain Restaurants will be having and not to mention the Food & Wine Festival going on from 9-25 to 11-8-09.

Halloween is especially nice in Floirda at WDW I think they really do it up more so than during Christmas, but that is just my opinion.
Plus the weather is great too.

Take care now. :sohappy::wave:

Thanks for all the ideas, we've done the resort parties too, DS wants to go to HHN:fork:. DH and I have been, and I showed him the website, but he thinks it'll be fun...I hope it doesn't ruin him:cry::D

DAK does stuff... they usually do trick or treating I believe in camp minnie and Mickey...and also in RPW alone the path way... they usually have creepy bugs out like spiders to show the kids. and they normall have characters dressed in their halloween costumes...but this is on Halloween weekend... or at least they did this in 2007. :D Hope this helps!
