It's my first time in October and I LOVE halloween...

How much do people dress up at other parks on Halloween week? I'm going to MNSSHP with a costume. I was wondering if I would like out of place if I wore it at other parks (or DTD) earlier in the week?

The only time you're allowed to dress up in costume as an adult is during MNSSHP.

Are you serious??? You're not allowed to dress up in costume other then MNSSHP? I'm going to MGM on the 31st and nobody will be dressed up on that day.

I'm completely serious. No one will be dressed in costume at MGM on October 31st unless they are a child. Only children (usually little girls in princess dresses) are allowed to dress in costumes inside the parks. Adults are not allowed to dress in costumes in any of the parks at any times unless they are attending either the Pirate and Princess Party or Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Mystic is right. The reason I think is so that other guests don't mistake you for a CM. And believe it or not, it does happen. Happened just last week to me at the Halloween Party even, a little girl honestly believed I was Belle and asked for a picture and for me and my companion (who was Cinderella) to sign her autograph books, as Belle and Cinderella.

And don't get me wrong it was rather amazing, but at the same time we were both trying desperately to explain to her mother how to take her to see the real characters...

No, you can't wear costumes. BUT...you can certainly wear a Halloween hat, or say like costume horns or something. And of course, you can wear seasonal shirts and stuff. Or wear an orange shirt and black shorts - that sort of thing. For example, I always wear my Mickey Ear Santa Hat when we go at xmas time. I'm not in costume, but I'm still enjoying the holiday season. Know what I mean?

You can only dress up if you are going to MNSSHP. The answer for the other parks is NO.....
