Halloween @ the resorts

We will be spending Halloween at Boardwalk Inn. We have done MNSSHP a few times and thought we would try something new this year. We are going to DTD to trick or treat but are wondering what the resorts do for Halloween. I know in the past that the Boardwalk had perormers and such, is this something they do all the time, also do they have trick or treating?
