Halloween Party Questions

We will be at Disney October 2 - 10 but don't plan on attending the Halloween party although I am swaying a little bit. We will be in MK a couple of days that the party will be held so I have a few questions.

1. How do they clear the park of people that do not have Halloween Party tickets? What time does this occur?

2. What happens if there is a dining reservation that runs past 7 and into the party?

3. Will the Mickey popcorn buckets be sold throughout October and be found everywhere or is this something that is only available during the party? My daughters(and me) would both like one but probably won't do the Halloween party. What other party only merchandise is avaiiable, I haven't found other pictures yet.

The party seems a little too pricey for us. Our kids our 2 and 4 and usually in bed around 8pm so we're not sure about shelling out the money to have them sleep in the stroller or be grumpy the whole time.

1. Those with valid party tickets get wristbands. Announcements begin about 6 to try and sell more tickets, if there are any that remain, but the announcement also implies that after 7pm is for party guests only. Around 7pm CM's will only allow those with wristbands into the lands off of the main hub, they have even been known to stop guests from entering stores so that they can't buy the party specific merchandise. CM's should also only allow those with wristbands into attractions and rides. This clears the majority of people, but some will still work their way around this and stay on Main St to see the parade and HalloWishes.

2. If it runs past 7pm you will be fine, but see #1. You can't really do much without a wristband.

The people who have party tickets receive a wrist band when entering after 4pm. People already in the park have stations they go to have their tickets scanned and receive the wristband. Starting at 7pm cast members go threw the park asking to see your wrist band if you do not have one you are asked to proceed to the front of the park and exit. At ride entrances after 7pm you will not be allowed to ride without a wrist band. Party merchandise is only sold during the party and you must show your wrist band to purchase. Usually it is tee shirts, sweatshirts, and pins. If you have dinner reservations that start before 7pm and you are not done till after 7pm you will be asked to leave the park when finished eating. All dinning reservations made after 7pm must have a party ticket. The pop corn buckets are sold thru out October. I believe the were sold all day. There is a special parade and fireworks during the party. Your kids may be to young to really enjoy the party. You may want to wait till they are older. With a nap during the day they may be OK only you know your kids.
