Halloween Party Questions

I'm hoping some of the veteran MNSSHP vistors could answer a couple of questions for me. We are planning on going to the party on Oct 11th. I know the official start time is 7 PM but I've read that we may be able to enter earlier. If we show up at 5:30 PM, what are the chances they will let us in to eat dinner before the party starts?

Second question, if we book Liberty Tree at 6:45 PM on a party evening (Oct 12th) without party tickets, would we be OK to take our time eating and making our way out of the park when we're finished?

Thanks for the help!

You can enter the park at 4pm on party nights using your ticket.

On your second question, there will be no problem.

For many years, they've been letting people in at 4:00 with party tickets. 4:00 - 8:00 is the busiest time of the night because the day peeps are still there and the party peeps are arriving. If you want to eat dinner, those are the hours I'd schedule mine!

But since Disney likes to switch things up, you can never count on them to do what they've always done. I don't expect a change...it would mean a LOT of people hanging around to enter at seven!...but I don't want to get blamed if Disney changes their minds and doesn't let you in at 4:00.

If you schedule a late dinner, you should be able to take a leisurely stroll out.
