We will be at WDW Oct 5th-Oct 11th staying at the poly. We are going to the halloween party on Friday the 7th. Tenatively I am thinking of doing the princess bfast in Epcot that am ( we have 3 young girls ages 2-7) spending a few more hours in Epcot after that...take a pool/nap break back at the hotel.....now FINALLY my questions! Since we will be going to the MK for the halloween party, I thought it would make sense to get there before the park closes to the general public and get our wristbands so we can stay in the park. Questions...do any rides remain open during this "changeover" time? And, I was thinking of dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern on the earlier side...does anyone know if the restaurants stay open during the changeover time? Hope this makes sense. When we went two years ago, I didn't realize that you could remain in the park, I thought it closed to everyone around 5ish and then reopened for the start of the party. But if I am understanding what I have been reading, I think we can get to the park around 4ish (or whenever we make it there) and then just stay straight thru....Thanks so much in advance for all of your help!!!!

Halloween party at MK and dinner?

They do close MK early around 6pm I think and yes you can stay in the park for MNNSHP! They direct you over to Tomorrowland as they try to get the public out of the park! I do not know if they close the rides down for a short time or not. As far as the restaurants, I believe they do not skip a beat! We are going to the MNNSHP on the 2nd and I am trying to get a PS for Liberty Tree around 6 so we can eat while the park is being changed over. Hope this helps and maybe more people will chime in with more info! And I also heard reports of getting in with your MNNSHP tickets as early as 4 pm!
