Halloween Outside the Parks?

Anyone know if the Boardwalk or Downtown Disney (or anywhere else) will be doing something for Halloween (costume party, masquerade ball...)?

I remember a few years ago, a wonderful little Halloween party at the Boardwalk resort, but it was in the building near the bus stop.
I also recall some little fun events at many of the other EPCOT resorts on Halloween.(pumpkin displays, cookie decorating, music and such.)

But I don't know if they are doing it this year.

I know years ago DTD used to have trick or treat spots for the kiddies and some of the villians would be around. I'm not sure if they still have the meanies wandering around since that was atleast 15+ years but I'm pretty sure they still have treats.

shades of green has pumpkin contests and treats for the kids.

They are having a Black & Orange Ball at Rix Lounge on the 30th which is located at the Coronado Springs. If you are interested you may want to go on their site for details.

I was at DTD this morning. Didn't notice any Halloween decorations. Not sure why Disney doesn't do more at the other parks. Uh, Hollywood Studios? Hello? :shrug:
