Halloween on the High Seas

I have only gone on the Halloween cruises without my family, so I am speaking from an adult activity perspective. But it's fun to go to the adult Halloween party/contest. In the past, I have dressed up with my friends. But even if you're don't want to dress in costume, it's still fun to watch all of the people in costumes. :)

I've been on 3 Halloween on the High Seas cruises (Dream, Fantasy and Wonder), none with children. They are all very similar. Have fun and dress up :) Even adults without kids dress up. Before dinner the characters come out in their costumes...they love it when people are dressed up, regardless adult or child. If you have children, bring them early for the trick-or-treating as the candy goes quick.

At the end of the evening, the adults halloween party/costume contest is fun!

As for the other parts of the cruise- the Halloween Tree is fun- make sure to see both shows (2 different stories, the second continues the first).

And lastly, if you're a huge fan of the Nightmare Before Christmas, go to the movie "scream along" in the Walt Disney Theatre. It's fun to watch it in 3D with some added 4D effects. Make sure to sit further back as once the movie is over, Jack and Sally start their meet n greet near Preludes...the line gets really long.

Have a great time on the cruise!
