Halloween Horror Nights with Youngsters

OK, I thought I'd post this as a follow-up to all the debating over HHN and youngsters that seems to go on.

We when to HHN 13 this year with out 7 year old and our 2 year old and they had a riot. So much so in fact that we went back on 2 further nights, thanks to our frequent fear passes. :D

Universal may try and put you off of taking kids, but once you get in there all the spooks and freaks are great with the kids. They will still try and scare them, but they will also be friendly with them.

We have tons of pictures of both our children with the monsters around the parks (some will be posted later) and for future reference I would always say to people that they need to judge there own children, but don't under-judge them as the event is (IMVHO) great for all ages.

You must have some great kids! There was a Travel Channel show this weekend about the Halloween Horror Nights, and from what I saw, I'd NEVER take my niece to it.

I really wouldn't believe what you saw. Our kids aren't anything special, Universal try and hype this up as something really bad and it isn't.

Our 7 year old is a veteran of 3 HHN (1999, 2000 and now 2003) and he has always loved them.

On every night we were there we saw plenty of young children ranging from 2 to 13 and they were all having a blast.

Let me put it another way, if Universal didn't expect young children to be there then why would they run One Fish, Two Fish, Unicorn Coaster, Storm Force and Caro-Suess-El??????

Storm Force didn't even open on any of our daytime visits to IOA....

True, our seven year old did a couple of the houses;

SCREAMHOUSE ….Revisited - BORING!!!
ALL-NITE D r I v E IN…. - He wasn't too fond of this one
SHIP OF SCREAMS - Loved this one

We didn't let our 2 year old go on any houses, but she did some rides and she loved the monsters.

Nope, we didn't go that night. We had multi-night passes for the off-peak nights.
