Halloween Dining

I have been to MNSSHP a few times but we have never had a Halloween themed meal? I hear that Liberty Tree Tavern has something but its more of just characters dressed up in Halloween gear. Has anyone gone to this dinner or a dinner you think would be worth reserving in advance for the party?

Also when did Cinderella's Royal Table become a signature meal? I dont ever remember it being one before. Does anyone know if you get the non character meal if it still only counts as one of your dining plan meals? Thanks a bunch Y'all.

Guest can now book dining reservations for Tony's Town Square Restaurant or Liberty Tree Tavern's "Liberate Your Appetite" Character Dinner on all Party Event Nights. Party Event Tickets are required. These locations do sell out early, often selling out before the party tickets sell out. The meal experience itself (and the price) is the same as during regular park hours. The advantage is being able to have a nice sit down dinner during the down time between when the park closes to the public (at 6 pm) and reopens for the Party (at 7 pm.)

Cinderella's Royal Table became a signature location as of Feb 2nd, 2006. At that time, the restaurant itself received some special effect enhancements, the menu and prices changed, and each meal now includes a photo package of your family with Cinderella, taken in the downstairs lobby before you are seated. All meals include characters, however during the dinner the Fairly Godmother is present announcing birthdays, anniversaries etc. but does not visit individual tables. Also, during the dinner, each family receives a special edition lithograph in addition to their photo package. All three meals count as signature dinning requiring 2 table service meal entitlements on the Disney Dinning Plan.

Hope this helps! :sohappy:

We had dinner @ Liberty Tree Tavern at the '05 the MNSSHP on Halloween night. The Party was sold out that nite and it was definitely a great way to have a break with the sit-down dinner! As you heard before, the characters are mostly just wearing "Zorro" style masks with a cape or 2 thrown in.

As Ludwig already mentioned, it's best to get your priority seatings early if you're at all interested.
