Halloween, but not doing MNSSHP?

We're planning a trip for Jersey Week. We were going to arrive on Sunday, Nov. 1 to avoid Halloween, but I see Touring Plans has Sat. Oct. 31 as only a 5 crowd level. Soo, now I'm thinking maybe we should arrive on Oct. 31 to take advantage of lower crowd levels earlier in that week (Fri. the 6th is a 9).

I don't think we would do MNSSHP. We're not hugely into trick-or-treating, but I'm sure my 9 and 12 year olds would like to do SOMETHING for Halloween. Do any of the other parks do anything for halloween? What about the resorts?

There is trick or treating at DTD but it is an absolute madhouse. If you want to do some sort of trick or treating I would recommend MNSSHP. Also there is quite a bit more going on at MNSSHP then just trick or treating. The parade IMHO is the best parade done at MK and the fireworks are second only to Music and Mayhem done at the P&P parties.

The crowd isn't too bad that week as long as you stay away from MK on halloween. I think DTD does trick or treating for the kids but other than that I'm not sure. I know that the Resorts have information about what is going on that week.

MNSSHP on Halloween

we went Halloween night last year and it was a zoo. long lines for candy and rides. hard to get a decent view of the parade. a fight just to walk through the park. couldn't really enjoy it. left before the fireworks. we will never do that again.

will go on a quieter weeknight though.
