Haircut on Mainsteet

when I was there I saw one child coming out with a haircut. And, I have read about parent's taking their child there for their first haircut, but a lot of the kids hated it (lots of kids hate having their haircut), so before you try it, i would do a "mock" haircut to see how your child responds. It might not be a "happy" experience for you child...
I also hear that they do signing there also, but I personally haven't been there.

HARMONY BARBER SHOP - Main Street USA, Magic Kingdom Park
Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm (last guest taken at 4:30pm). Open seven days a week.
Service: Haircuts are offered for $17.00 for adults, $14.00 for children. No reservations; first-come, first-served.
Other: "First Haircuts" are their specialty. Kids who receive their first haircut at the shop get complimentary Mickey Ears and a certificate. Barber shop quartet The Dapper Dans perform daily.

Great place to get a haircut, or the first haircut.
My youngest son's first haircut was in MK and he loved it. They covered his entire face with Mickey stickers and the barber chased my oldest son around the shop trying to put stickers on him too.
They also will color their hair what ever color they want, and then add the "hidden Mickey" on the back of their head in the same colors......
The last time we went, all the "boyz" got their hair cut, and colored.......the looks from people were great, plus everyone asked where we got our hair done....

Both of our boys had their first haircuts there. They do a great job! Even when your child is crying and upset! They give you a certificate, mouse ears that say First Haricut and they even save some of the hair for you for your baby book. We were so happy with our oldest sons that we had our youngest done there too. Have fun!
