HUGE Tim Allen fan here- always have been. Watched Home Improvement until it went off the air and i STILL watch reruns. Anyway, I always enjoy his films, especially the family friendly ones (Santa Clause, anyone?!) and am excited for this one too. Not much chit chat about it in here, though. Why is that?!

I saw the perview for it during the super bowl, and it looks TERRIBLE, IMO. The jokes looked really lame, and nothing looked even remotely funny.

I'll check it out, because The gy Dog is one of the classics I grew up with.....but even so this remake just doesn't seem as potent or funny.

I watched it as a kid, too, which is a big reason I think I am looking forward to this. It will only bring back great memories of being young.

I saw the superbowl ad too and thought it was funny- that poor little bulldog who flies into the windsheild? I guess that kind of comedy still cracks me up. And, Tim Allen always plays his roles well. I loved both the Santa Clause films and found him to be so loveable.

I'm surprised so many people are down on this film seeing that it is such a classic.
