Anything you always mean to do but never quite pull the trigger...I've been going to WDW for about 25 years and have never done Coral Reef,....also always want to do La Nouba but back out due to price...

The price of CRT has always prevented us to booking it, even though a few ADR slots (albeit for awful times like 8:50pm) were available in our last trip.

Is it REALLY worth the price? As in, it's twice as awesome as Akershus?

La Nouba is tops of my list. Booking more "higher" end meals is another. I like to eat and a lot of nicer restaurants outside of New Orleans that I've been too give such small portains. I pay $50-$60 or more on just my meal and I'm hungry again in 2 hours. I feel it's a waste. Next trip we're doing Canada and Ohana though. Looking forward to those.

One I am checking off that list on my next trip is staying at a monorail resort, booked the Poly in march and go figure, the damn monorail will be closed from 11a-7pm every day for maintenance. Oh we'll, ill get a taste of it.

I prefer Askershus over CRT. With that said however; you must do CRT at least once.

We did both CRT and Akershus this past trip in August and we prefer CRT. The food in our opinion was better and the line up of princesses for our child was better as she is a big Rapunzel and Jasmine fan which is rarely at Akershus, however, if you are big on character meeting then seeing Ariel in her dress is a must do at least once.

La Nouba is another do it to experience it especially if you have never seen a Cirque show, but it will be a good while before we see it again.

Coral Reef.. My opinion would not help on that as it's my least favorite restaurant in WDW.. Seafood is not my thing at all haha

As far as experiencing a deluxe resort, you could always walk around the lobby/pool areas free of charge before you decide if you really want to spend money for it. Once you're asleep inside your room, the inside of a Motel 6 will likely not be terribly different than the inside of the the Waldorf Astoria.

Also, I hear that there are free tours at Animal Kingdom Lodge where they talk about their restaurants and food, so there's always that.

Finally, you could always rent DVC points and save quite a bit vs booking hotel rooms outright and stay at some pretty nice resorts.

A disney vacation is so expensive...I mean just getting 1000 miles down the road is a chunk of change if I fly and if I drive I want to stay for a while so that ups the resort and food costs....

Never ate at Coral Reef....thought about it a couple of times but unless I was on the Deluxe Plan I am more inclined to maybe try one of the signatures at the Dolphin or our tried and true favorite is Flying Fish....I can eat $ 50 bucks in bread alone at that restaurant making the final bill seem worth it.

Never thought about seeing La Nouba....that is more of a Vegas thing in my mind.

Never have take the princess for a makeover to BBB either but both of them are little pirates and we have done that several times.

Going to splurge for Pirates and Pals this summer I think

Are you do the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage? We did it and loved it! It's totally work the price IMO. Your family will have a wonderful time!
