Guitar Hero III: Aerosmith

So I just got my copy of Game Informer and the next Guitar Hero game features Aerosmith! It will have other bands, but they're the headliner. You get to play the life of the band from their inception through present times. COOL! Hopefully this will be sold at RnR.

Yeah, my 11 year old boy is pumped. He just downloaded Dream On last week when it was released for GH3. I thought that the the game creators could of picked a little better Aerosmith song than "Same Old Song and Dance" for GH3, so this sounds promising.

I did think it was not the most obvious choice, but I think they picked because it had a good guitar riff that fit with the game.

I'm really excited about this game. I already pre-ordered it.

It said that the game will also feature songs from bands that they've either toured with or have been inspired by. I hope that means some Rolling Stones in it as well.

A friend of mine is doing the graphic design for that game. He also worked on GH III --- all of the people involved with that game got HUGE bonuses!!

We preordered here also. My 8 year old saw an ad for GH on Tour for the DS and she is PUMPED. Started asking to do chores and earn money for it. Kind of scary.

Neat, but just to be totally objective, I didn't really care for Judy Nails or Izzy Spark's redesign, so you know, nudge nudge, if it's ok you know, fan feedback..... idk

there's no way this isn't the greatest game of all time...

Guitar Hero got me through college... and Aerosmith has always been my favorite band so...

I still think they should've gone with Rock Band...those animations of them are CREEPY!

(For those who don't know, Guitar Hero isn't run by the same people who started Guitar Hero...They've moved on to make Rock Band because they knew it'd be much better...)

And really? Guitar Hero Slurpees? The new owners sure do love to sell out. You can't take a walk anywhere without seeing Guitar Hero slapped on to everything.

It was revealed a few days ago that one of the venues you will perform at is the Orpheum Theatre in Boston.

Here are the tracks that will be unlocked there:

And from what I read Aerosmith has signed to only release tracks for guitar hero and nothing else. So no tracks for rock band any time soon.

I don't mind selling out, but I have to LOOK to find Rock Band stuff...but Guitar Hero TOYS and SLURPEES are a little much.

I was just as sad/amused at the EXTREME selling out of Halo 3 (Since I found the game so dissapointing.)

So has anyone bought the game yet?

As an Aerosmith fan, I think it is a blast rocking out to all the songs. They really did a good job of matching all the movements of Steven Tyler and the gang. The stage in the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame has a set with a twisting guitar neck. It kind of reminded me of what's in front of the Rock 'N' Roller Coaster.

Also, does anyone know if they sell the Aerosmith guitar plate cover to add to the regular controller, or do you have to get the Aerosmith bundle pack to actually get a controller with the Aerosmith logo?
