Guests at hotels?

Hey guys - going to the World soon - my wife and I have a room with 2 queen beds at French Quarter. My sister in law and her husband are possibly going to be in the area but aren't sure yet. Is there a policy against us having them stay with us for a night or two even though we've officially only booked the room for two people? Or is it something they would just not notice?

Thanks!

I believe you would need to pay a fee for addt't guests over the amount booked for the room(I think it is $25?). You might be able to get away with it and hope no one notices but that will likely get you bashed by people who do not believe in being dishonest.

At moderate resorts, the additional adult fee (per person) is $15/night plus tax. You can easily add them to your room at the front desk should they want to join you. If you don't add them, they will not have a way to enter the room since they will not have MagicBands or a key card.

Usually, they charge a fee for more than two adults in the room. You could call Disney as they might be able to add them on once you get down there (front desk should be able to do it) and charge you the fee for the nights when they are staying. I would double check with Disney to make sure this is alright, though.

We've had another couple visit us on property and stay in our room. To be perfectly honest, we've done it at French Quarter both the sneaky way and the legit way. They probably won't notice, but I can personally speak to the peace of mind that comes with paying the $15 fee for each extra adult. Plus, you can request a parking pass for them when you check them in.

My friends and I got a room for 4 people at All-Star Music and another friend ended up coming up with us making us 5 so we brought an air mattress up for her to sleep in our room. Turns out, we got upgraded to a suite and she was able to sleep in our room with the perfect amount of space and without any trouble for two nights! I wouldn't worry.
