Guest Services to Link Old Tickets?

I have some old (2006) no expiration 7-day park hoppers that I'm using on our trip starting Thursday. I can't link them to our MBs so have to get them converted to new tickets our first night, link them and make my FP+ (whatever I can make) that night.
  1. Can this be done at hotel guest services or does it have to be at an actual park?
  2. If park, what (in your opinion) is the easiest guest services spot to get in and out of? Was thinking the International Gateway at Epcot, but not sure.
Thanks!

I had never expire tickets from 2005 and was not able to link to my account ahead of time either. I had to physically take them to Guest Services and have them converted to new media (at no cost)...same number of days left, same ticket type (park hopper). We actually went to Downtown Disney and only had 1 person in line ahead of us.
