It depends on which performs better. I would test out both connection methods and see which is quicker. Generally speaking, if your cell network is fast, that often provides better performance than the public Wi-FI. But a lot of that depends on how crowded the area is, and the signal strength as your exact location.

I found the cell network better. I managed to do the queue on two days, the first day I used the room wifi and was in group 92 the second time I was using the cell and was in group 2. But, that could just be luck of the draw.

What I found most important was to use an atomic clock app. We were surprised to discover our clock phones were off by a second or more.
