GTY Room Number

This is the first time where I have booked a room category where I was not able to pick my room ahead of time. Due to the limited number of cabins left in the category, they said it would be assigned at a later date. Does anyone know how many days before my cruise they will assign an actual cabin number?

After you pay the cruise in full they will assign the room. The good thing with a GTY category is that while you will be guaranteed that room category, you also have the chance to have it upgraded.

I paid it off a couple weeks ago, so hopefully it will be assigned soon.

We went 8/31-9/6/13 and we got our gty room assigned about a month in advance and we were lucky enough to be upgraded with a veranda. Hope you get upgraded!
