It's pronounced 'GRO-ven-or'.

We stayed there for one night in 2002, it looked decent enough. Our room was a little bigger than an All-Star room, maybe a bit smaller than a Moderate room. We enjoyed the playground for the kids, but we didn't experience the pool, bus transportation, or the restaurants.

It's a decent hotel. I would stay there if I run out of DVC points. :)

During the slow period, you can get an unbelievable deal staying there (like say for 5 nights, get the 6th night free). If you get a room in the tower, you could get a good view of Downtown Disney and even see Illuminations from your hotel room. I like the hotel because it is walking distance to Downtown Disney.

As with any hotel on Hotel Plaza Blvd., the bus transportation to Disney theme parks are not as frequent as I would prefer it. That's why I always rent a car whenever I'm at WDW. BTW, they also have Breakfast with the Characters at the hotel restaurant (I think it's 3 time a week).

I'd have to say that the Grosvenor is my favorite hotel.
The tower rooms are great. I love watching the fireworks. If your room faces Downtown Disney, you can see three fireworks shows.
Baskervilles is a Sherlock Holmes themed restaurant with character breakfasts featuring Goofy and Pluto. Outside the restaurant is a display for The Great Mouse Detective. We usually get the breakfast buffet there.
There are two main pools and a small kiddie pool with shade over it. There is also a wonderful hot tub right near the kiddie pool so if I want to have a soak I can keep an eye on the kids. Basically it has all the amenities of the Disney hotels but with a British flair. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The bus to Animal Kingdom, though, leaves hourly so plan accordingly.
The location of the hotel is great, IMO, because you have DD at one end of the street and Crossroads at the other end, within walking distance. A good restaurant at Crossroads to try is Jungle Jim's. I actually prefer to stay there. The prices can be really good and a bit lower than the Disney hotels at times, like ZapperZ said. Keep an eye on the specials, usually around the end of August you can get a room for $79/ night.
