Grocery Shopping

:slurp: For a number of years we just do our DVC grocery shopping at Goodings. Seems to me a short time ago there was a thread reagrding cheaper places to shop, still really close to Disney. Publix comes to mind. Can someone
confirm that it's good and give location/directions please? Any other gorcery stores to consider? Thanks a bunch. :wave:

we usual shop at the grocery store at the DVC resort.
espically if you are at the boardwalk they have a large store that half is groceries and half is soveniers.
goodies is very expenince on property at the hotels isn't that bad.

We always hit the Publix on 192. If you head towards 27 on 192 when you come off the Disney property, you pass a couple of them. There are some little animatronics in there that the kids enjoy.

Wal-mart supercenter east of Disney on 192 a little drive from there, but good prices and if you forgot to bring something, like a bathingsuit they have that

We, too, go to Goodings year after year. We know it is expensive,BUT it has now become part of our tradition to go there to stock up on snacks, drinks, and breakfast foods. It wouldn't be a trip unless we stopped there.

We stayed at FW this May and used Winn-Dixie, only a 5-10 minute ride. I got a discount card in advance ( applied online) and saved quite a bit. Good selection & prices.

I would say hit the goodings, Disney Grocery store or go to www.publix.com and enter your hotel zip code, or just the city, and there you go! it will even give you directions.
