my favorite thing to do at work is to spot someone (especially kids) with a disney shirt or disney clothing on... and tell them i used to work at wdw.. and i am going back in jan.[
anyway - so today i overhear this family in our store, and they had obviously bumped into some people they knew... and i heard them say - "no it wasn't at epcot, it was at MGM - , (they were talking about 'millionaire' - anyway - i walked over, and i was like... "i am so sorry to interupt, but i heard ya'll talking about wdw, and i used to work there, and I LOVE WDW STORIES.." - and the usual reaction came...
YOU USED TO WORK AT WDW...
anyway - a little girl and boy were there
prob. 5 and 8 and the boy had a buzz shirt, and the girl had a princesses shirt... and i told them both that i used to work with buzz and the girls... and i had lunch with buzz all the time, and the princesses were SO nice, and i even got to go in cinderella's castle and have tea with her....
THE TWO KIDS MOUTHS WERE WIDE OPEN... - the little boy was very interested, but the little girl... i mean ya'll should have seen her... she asked me SO many questions... the parents were EATING IT UP!!! - i asked her her name and told her i was going to tell all the princesses about her and stuff.... it was so funny! after they left (we talked for a good 20 minutes) i got a little emotional just thinking how one man started something so huge for the world... it really is amazing if you think about it.
