Great Movie Ride? Why the hype recently?

This is why all my trips are October time bar one at easter which was CROWDED beyond belief

Not to mention the weather is darn near perfect. Humidity is gone, but the rapid high/low temperature shifts of winter have yet to come. It's nice and warm and pleasant.

Totally agree as we always go sometime Oct-Dec except not Thanksgiving week or Christmas/New Year's week. We enjoy the lesser crowds and better weather those 3 months. We will be there 10/13-10/26 again this year to use our AP one more time, and the next trip will be in early-mid December in 2017. Our absolute fave time to go.

I went in easter one trip and although i thoroughly enjoyed myself it was my least favourite visit because some days the heat was unbearable (being from the UK). I find in october it feels very warm but pleasant

This ride always has these types of lines during peek times -- and this past week was record heat-setting weather, and anything with air conditioning was higher attended than anything without...but overall the lines were comparable to this same time last summer...The one thing that HAS made a difference is the FP+ that has now made this one of the Tier 1 attractions at DHS...but quite frankly, they pretty much HAD to add this to FP+ since there are so few other options in this park.

Just hope the line isn't TOO long, or the trailers will loop...

I rode the ride yesterday and was very impressed by the changes. I love the Tcm Osborne narration. The new film cuts etc. All they have to do now is upgrade the alien and some other animatronics and it's a home run.

I don't like the new queue outside though. Very hot, and in the sun!
