Great Movie Ride Closing in Fall

An inside source has just confirmed that the Great Movie Ride will be closing this September to be removed and replaced with a new ride based on The Avengers, to open in late 2013. Hate to see the Great Movie Ride go its kinda a classic, would have liked to have seen it received new scenes or what not instead but oh well. I guess Iger gets what he wants.

since they just launched monerail wrap, thought this would be fun little april fools, hope it didnt shake up too many of you, you can relax now. :)

Well, that was too kind of you. I'm still trying to find out about Test Track... so I keep looking to see if anyone has any real information about things closing.

Not funny. I know its april fools day and all but saying
something like that isn't funny. The Great Movie Ride has
been at MGM/Disney Hollywood Studios since the beginning. It's
a classic and its one of the best things they have their.

Also, whoever reads your post on here might get upset about it
even if it is just a prank. and who knows sometime in the
future Disney will shut down the great movie ride for good.
Although personally I think they've already gotten rid of
some of their more popular rides... Alien encounter, timekeeper,
world of motion etc.

please, relax! wow tough crowd, If the mods choose to close it thats fine they are welcome to. It wasnt a prank either. Have you seen miceage today? You should check out their articles that are posted!!!! This is nothing.
