Great movei ride hostage

In the great movie ride, what are the two possible scenes your tour guide gets captured.....is it gangsters and cowboys? Help, brain fart!

yup, its gangster and western themed...or at least i thought it was...

Yes. When there are two groups going through, the first group makes it through the gangster area. The second group gets held up by the red light. Group one will stop just before entering the "Alien" area and there is a shootout between the bank robber and his accomplice(AA badguy). The tour guide ends up inside the bank and the bank robber tosses dynamite inside which explodes and sets the bank on fire. When entering "Alien" the bank robber comments that "The sun sure sets awful fast around these parts."

Meanwhile, the second group being held up sees the two AA badguys and "Mugsy." Mugsy and the AAs get into a fight with the "Coppers" and Mugsy takes the group through into the Old West("Sleepy little burg... where are we, Jersey?") As you approach "Alien" the Sherriff AA that was fighting the bank robber for the first group, has his fight with just the AA badguy. Upon entering "Alien" the comment is "Look at it this way, things can't get any worse... Wrong! It's worse." (Or something to that effect, anyway).

I have rode that ride MANY times and it NEVER clicked that there were two different "hostnappings"

Wow I'll have to keep this is mind on my up coming trip.

If all four moving theatre cars are used, they split into two for this scene, two get the gangster scene and two get the cowboy scene. I think the cowboy scene is better with the effect of the bank explosion and the heat it generates.

However whenever I've ridden it in the past few years there has only been two cars in use and they always do the Gangster scene.
