Great Family Activity at Disney

Looks like you had a great time! I have to wonder though... did you feel like the experience was really any different than say going to an "actual" Yankees/Braves game? I mean, the stadium is on property yes but is it any different than your average run of the mill MLB stadium?

It's a more intimate experience. As for comparison with a major league game...naw...it's more like being at a minor league stadium. If the sun is at the right angle, you can see Mickey's silhouette in the outfield...that won't be at a regular major league game...with the exception of Anaheim (if they did it).

I just liked the fact that:
1) it was at Disney
2) My dad panicks when he has to drive into the city, so seeing a game at Disney ( other than the bus situation) was less stressful getting there.
3) tickets were more affordable and we got better seats than we probably would at Yankee stadium
4) it was a nice way to relax after the race (and we saved our park ticket for another day)
5) it was nice that people won Disney themed prizes ( like tickets to the water park)

Besides, everything is better when it is at Disney, Right?
