Just got back from a great trip. On one of the nights we had dinner at Chef's du France and it was GREAT!! The food was excellent but what really made it amazing was the waiter. He was wonderful (and my girlfriend kept saying how cute he was too...:hurl: ) I'm a big tipper for good service and at the end of the meal i made sure to tip him heavily (paid with a room card and wrote the gratuity on the ticket) as well as tell the manager what a wonderful time we had and what a great waiter he was. As we left i was wondering if he will get that or if it goes into a pool that all the servers share. I think it would be horrible if some cheesy waiter got a good tip just because the good ones make up for his/her bad service.
