Got stuck on Revenge of the Mummy today

Our ride vehicle stopped just as it was about to launch us (after the 180 degree turn/track change.) While we were sitting there on the 45? degree incline in the darkness I couldn't help but laugh at the fools who called 911 last week. It was interesting to see the inner workings of the ride with all the lights on and our little single-file march back into the park through the employee area was fun. Everyone that would drive by in little golf carts would stare at all of us who were gathering behind the building heheh

All in all it took about 15-20 minutes to get everyone off from the time the ride stopped.

Just thought I'd share :)

Though I wish I had my camera handy, I'm afraid I'm a good little boy and I don't bring any loose items aboard Revenge of the Mummy ! :)

I have been stuck in the same area. This was right after it opened and they couldn't get the lights to come on in the building so we were lead out by flahlights.

Just for the record, I helped ya off of the RV and led ya back into the park. I was training that day (actually, evac training to be exact-- what timing?). Pretty much anytime I heard a delay spiel play, I'd rush my trainees up to load just in case. I'm sorry you couldn't finish the ride, but I'm glad you at least got a kick outta seeing the launch.

Were you the one with that pole that attaches to the ride vehicle or the one that had to tell the Italian woman what the password to get back in through the express line was?

And yes, I really did enjoy seeing the track and all sorts of interesting things!

See you next malfunction! :)

That's the one ride there that I'd love to get stuck on. I'm very curious as to what the inside of that building looks like and I'd love to get a look.

Very cool, glad you enjoyed the "experience". Did you happen to see the old KONGfrontation tracks still on the ceiling? I hear you can see them if the lights go on in the launch sequence.

I didn't notice tracks on the ceiling. I was busy checking out the launch area and past that you can see the whole coaster structure. It looked just like the other coasters at IOA, only smaller scale and indoors :)

It's always funny how some great looking some of the effects are in the darkness and when you see them in the light they appear silly.

I was the one with the pole (to make sure you didn't get off the wrong side of the RV).
