Got back last week! WooHoo!

Howdy folks,

Just got back last week from a trip to WDW with DD (7) and DF, it was a surprise trip for DD for her bday (Which isn't till later in Nov.).

We left our place in Panama City, FL on Sun 11/6, and stayed at Pop (70's 3rd Floor Courtyard.. very cool) until 11/15..

We had a blast! I might post an actual trip report or just copy DF's from Passporter. =)

My trip report summary.

After several several months of planning, we finally made our surprise trip for our 7 year old a reality.

Cast: Fiance, 27; Myself, 29, and DD 7 (surprise trip to celebrate her 8th bday which is actually next week. =))

When: Nov 6th - Nov 15th.

Sun, Nov 6

We left for Orlando via rental car (We live up in the panhandle, it's only a 6 or 7 hour drive. On the other side of Tallahasse I got a speeding ticket.. Darn it! That's the only one I've ever had.. Ah well, I almost cried at the Florida trooper, but got over it and we got on our way. (Supposedly got tracked by an airplane going 90 down I10..Oh well)

Anways.. Trip down was interesting, we arrived at pop century sometime around 3 or 4 eastern time.. We had requested a Non Smoking Room, High Floor, 70's or 50's. CM Almost gave us a non smoking ground floor in the 70s, but DFiance politley asked if we could get a higher room. Our check-in CM Rocked! He got us a room on the 3rd floor courtyard view in the 70's.. Awesome!! We drove around to the parking lot for the 70's building and realised quickly that it wasn't going to be easy to get our stuff quicly to our room, and we had an ADR that night for .... Chef Mickeys! So we had to get moving.. we grabbed a few things and brought them up to the room, packed what we needed and headed for the room for a minute, and then got over to the busses quickly..

Ok.. So it was more of a launch into the first day instead of a summary.. Happy reading. I might eventually post some pics. too.. Thanks!
