Got back from Busch Gardens

I just got back from Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay and had a good time. Busch Gardens has always been a good park... but not Disney. Anyway, the coasters are pretty good like always, the water rides are refreshing etc. The only thing the park needs is a makeover. The buildings to the restuarants and attractions look worn out. I love Gwazi...great coaster!

Your comments on Busch Gardens Tampa were interesting. We live near Williamsburg and get seasons passes for the BG there. My first trip this year brought a similar reaction. The place could seriously need a coat of paint. Its no WDW - doesn't really try to be; but they used to keep a high standard of appearance and cleanliness.

I agree about Bush Gardens....It is not Disney....BUT.... as long as you bring up restrooms....BG restrooms are laways very clean... They do have better coasters than WDW but they are not themed up like WDW... No pre-show.... they have no "belt" (continuous) rides like Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear.... but they have things that WDW doesn't have.... Bumper cars...sky ride....Bush should have an afternoon parade.... another big sit down place.... theme characters....In park hotel.... and fireworks at night.....but it all started with a garden area where people sampled the beer after the brewery tour....the motto should be "it all started with a brew.":lol:

I agree they may have better coasters than Disney...but that's all they have for going for them. They will never be a resort like Disney. Who cares about bumper cars and magic kingdom did have something similiar to the sky ride but it was taken down. I think Busch Gardens looks so out dated, the structures look like something from the past, consideing that's not part of the themeing.:hammer:
