Got a call from Disney Dining?!?!

So , I made adrs To Capt. jacks for out trip in august.

I made them online a few weeks ago and we all looked forward to one last meal at This pkace before it closed.....

Well my cell phone rang and A nice woman apologized and said that she was calling to let us know that they moved the closing date up to the 17th and that They

would be happy to help us find another place to dine that day!

I thought it was odd that they called instead of emailing me....I told her we would think aout it and get back to them!!

Hmmmmmmmm........wonder if theyll get us into any place we want??? Probably not but its worth a shot!

Bummer. We never made time for Captain Jack's because of the abysmal reviews, but had hoped to check it out before it closed. We even tried to stop in to the bar on our last visit just for drinks and maybe an appetizer, but the place was totally packed. Isn't it funny how you can not care at all about a thing until it becomes a relic of the past? (I'm looking at you, Concourse Steakhouse fans.)

Id read some unfavorable reviews too But I gotta say I had two or three Really good meals there and Im sorry to see it go!!

Not a loss. Service and food declined consitantly for many years....mostly the service was poor.

Ive read this kinda thing a bunch of times. The few times I was there the food was pretty good. I cant honestly say how the service was becasue I cant recall anything specific about it. If the service was great Im pretty sure id remember .
