I looked a EPCOT on google maps and if you zoom in you see the main parking lot with a lot of cars and the employee lot full as well, yet no people anywhere in the park, Except the garden theater in America is full of people sitting..

They digitally remove them in some areas. If you zoom in on city streets, parking lots, etc, you’ll see that for the most part, they’re “empty.” Guessing the reason people are still in the AGT is because it’s difficult for the program to differentiate between stationary people and buildings around it, especially as people don’t have an easily identifiable shape like a car does.

I think it has to do with the 3D view in Google Maps/Earth in Chrome. If you look at in 3D mode you can see the buildings and trees, etc., but putting in 3D people would be a problem. If you switch to the 2D map (which is newer) there are plenty of people.

Obviously not an accurate representation of crowd levels now though. Nice example nonetheless.
