Google Earth has been updated with 3D .5 meter resolution satellite images for the entire WDW area - the highest resolution commercially available for satellite surveyance.

Of course, I wasted no time in snapping a captured screen shot image of the alleged unused monorail footer in front of the WDI building backstage of EPCOT.

In the center is the cavity imprint where the pylon would go. You can see rebar inside and locking mechanisms for the pylon. The imagery is 3D, so you can look at it in different angles with Google Earth.

All I see is fuzzy shapes. Can you point to the rebar and locking mechanism.

@PeterAlt , have you ever inquired with @photoflight to see if he has any pictures of the footer? I know on his amazing website he has one great picture of the WOL and M:S pavilions, but it's cut just short of the Imagineering office to the east of those buildings, so no footer in the picture.

Nope. They replaced him with a real one. Although less expensive than fixing the AA he doesn't work cheap and he's got an appetite like a...well...yeti.
I see they're using a brown haired one instead of a white haired one. Smart. Better contrast.

I haven't. Good idea.

Wow, these are sharp.

It says they're dated 10-15-2012, but that can't be right because the Tangled bathrooms are clearly complete and open.
Wouldn't these be from 10-15-2013?

In the last imageset for the Magic Kingdom the Tangled bathrooms were still under construction (though oddly, Google Maps used a more up-to-date set of images).

Also, the stage in front of the hat in front of the Chinese Theater at MGM is gone.

Oh, and where's the Liberty Belle? Did it move out of frame between images?

Check it out- Zebra behind Jambo House at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Found some more neat things

If you look at Animal Kingdom itself, on Expedition Everest the picture was taken just as a train was stopped at the broken section of track at the summit.

Also, over at Splash Mountain you can see an empty log splashing down after Slippin' Falls.

Due to some sort of compositing error, most of the walkway between the Japan and Morocco pavilions appears to be underwater.
