Just seeing if there are any fellow Goofy's Mystery Tour participants on here. I just got back from my first time at the event, and had a total blast. Our team did very well on the trivia, and not too bad on the Mystery portion. We were missing a few letters, though, and didn't get the correct Final Mystery. Can't wait for next year!

For those that don't know, Goofy's Mystery Tour is a Disney trivia competition/scavenger hunt/total randomness that's held after-hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios for teams of four individuals, two of whom have to be Cast Members.

I did Goofy's Mystery Tour back in 2007. It was a blast. I forgot what place our team ranked but we did alot better than we thought. I would defnitely recommend it for all CMs to try out. :)

My friends & I tried to sign up, but we wanted to get both the day of it off & the day after. We ended up requesting the days off the day after we were supposed to have submitted the request by. Anyways, we didnt do it because we couldnt get the days off & in costuming, you either work early or late, there aren't many daytime shifts.

I have never heard of this before, but I am SUPER EXCITED now!

My sister and I are going to be in the DCP in spring '10 and am definitely doing this!

Do you win anything? Not that it matters. I'd participate in this kind of game if it COST me something!

Oh, sorry, wasn't checking this thread too often.

Actually, it does cost something. :) This year, the entry fee was $80/team of four. For all the fun we had, $20/person was not bad. The winning teams got plaques and what appeared to be something else, though that wasn't specified.

Oh, something that I don't believe has been mentioned in this thead: the team members are connected by bungie cords for the duration of the game. Very random, and it takes some getting used to.

Scores came out a few days after I started this thread, so I thought I'd give an update on my team's score. We got 85th place out of 250 teams, which isn't too bad for a bunch of first-timers, I think. Actually, on the trivia portion of the game, we had the second-highest score--better than the second and third-place teams, even!

Haha! Well, I think $20 would DEFINITELY be worth it!

& attached by bungee cord?? =P It'd be more of a challenge, I suppose! And more fun! =D

And good job!!
