Went to MGM and Epcot today, but didn't get a whole lot of pictures, but I'll show you the ones I did.

First off, the SF backdrop is being re-installed, not sure what to think of the new one yet.

Also, saw the 1 pm showing of LMA, and Mikey from American Chopper made a performance there, apparently there is going to be a little bit of LMA on American Chopper on May 15 or 16.

Got to ride Soarin' today, despite the two hour breakdown, and was very impressed. I also was very impressed with the new look of the Land pavilion, it looks fantastic. I didn't bother with any pictures because Grizz has posted a plethora of them over in his thread on the new look of the Land.

Flower and Garden looked awesome from what I was able to see, and after Illuminations I spotted this hidden mickey in the water between FW and WS.

Wait times today weren't too bad. Tower got up to 45 minutes when I was there in the morning, same for RnR. SM was posted 60, actual wait was 30. Splash posted 75, and BTMRR posted 65. TT posted 65-75, and M:S posted 20-30. Soarin' was 40 before the breakdown, and after got up to 30 by the time we left.

Sorry for the lack of pictures and info, wasn't looking around as much today since I brought a friend who hadn't been there in a long time, so I was just worried about showing him a good time. Hope you enjoy! :wave:

That was a great pic of the San Francisco backdrop, it looks almost exactly like one of the roads I got lost on the first time I drove through San Francisco.

The backdrop kind of livens up that section of the street too.

The new backdrop appears to be MUCH better than the first. I had no problem with the original before, but after seeing the first part of this newer one in the pic above, I must say the original was pretty fake looking. Its basically the same design, just better. I like they have added a trolley car to the road as well instead of just the cars that were in the original.

Nice pics - thanks for the updates. Surprised by the posted wait times for M:S and how low they are compared to the other rides, I thought that there would be a longer wait for the newer attractions

With Soarin', Test Track and Mission: SPACE, I'm not going to be able to decide which one to ride first! Incredibly short wait for M:S!

I too think it overall looks better, but it wasn't put on very tight yesterday, so it looked like a giant sail basically.

HOOK- I too was extrememly surprised at the differance in wait times, maybe more people are choosing not to ride than we all thought? :confused:
