ok..the goofy statue in Magic Kingdom , which is my avatar ( thanks again mrtoad) ... does or did it talk? i really thought it would say something if you sat near it....or maybe im crazy... :veryconfu

Glad you like your new avatar. The whole picture is my daughter sitting with Goofy staring up at him. It did not talk when were there in the begining of the year. Hope it does when we go back it would be very cool for my daughter.

Is this statue new?

I am not sure of the age, I don't know if I remember seeing it before or not. I think it might have been on our trip prior to this on in 2000 but I am not positive. The statue huge, full goofy size, and he sits on a bench in front of Tony's Town Square.

I LOVE that avatar! I've never heard it speak, but then again I've only seen it passing by.

I think it's due time I make a new visit to the Emporium!

It was there when I was there back in 1999. Although it wasn't talking. I just thought it was a simple bronze statue!
