Goofy About Road Trips (open brainstorming)

This is based on at least two threads created, here: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/a-goofy-ride.109925/. And here: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/a-goofy-themed-dark-ride-with-no-place-for-it-to-go.856525/.

I had originally put up the second linked thread with the subsection "with no place for it to go?!". But now, I have at least a vague idea where this ride can go, right in Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland, replacing Goofy's Playhouse. This will also be part of another Mickey-themed land at WDW's Magic Kingdom, for which another thread was created, but which, sadly, is going nowhere: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/mickeys-vacation-village-a-new-land-at-mk.897902/.

Anyway, this is based on an abandoned concept for "Goofy About Road Trips", which was originally considered for DCA and be about California's car culture, before Cars Land came along instead. The basic ride concept for this would be loosely based on "A Goofy Movie" and be about a cross-country road trip by the anthropomorphic friend of Mickey's. The attraction takes riders on a journey with the absentminded Goofy where things went awry and mayhem ensued. Here are some images based on that:

Anyway, now, let's brainstorm on the scenes for the ride!

Okay, let me rephrase what I have posted...

Goofy goes on a road trip and you're going along for the ride. What are some possible ideas for scenes based on this concept? Just remember, I don't want just a brief description of the ride and then call it a day. I want to have some ideas for scenes, too. So let's brainstorm! Please don't make me do this by myself!

Maybe the ride's soundtrack could be an instrumental version of "On the Open Road"?

On a side note, would Max be along for the ride?

No, it would be just Goofy. This would be based, albeit loosely, on this one old videotape of Goofy cartoons called "Sport Goofy's Vacation". The description of the tape reads as follows:

Sport Goofy takes a break from his busy athletic activities to spend some leisurely moments on vacation -- but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll stay out of trouble! Here's an uproarious collection of six cartoons that star the bumbling hero in countless mishaps and misadventures as he hits the vacation trail! Includes these classic titles:
  • Two Weeks Vacation (1952)
  • Father's Lion (1952)
  • Foul Hunting (1947)
  • How To Fish (1942)
  • Tiger Trouble (1945)
  • Aquamania (1961)
So that gives you some idea of what to expect from the ride idea. So now, based on that, what scenes would be good for the ride?

So what happens to the narrator? Plus are some elements going to be from Motor Mania?

I don't think the narrator is really necessary. That may work well in a slow-moving dark ride, but I'm thinking a speed of at least the same as the Monsters Inc. ride at DCA. And I'm not sure how "Motor Mania" can be used, except maybe bumping into another car, maybe Goofy's, and even then it would probably be only an accident. Remember, Goofy is on a road trip. We should try and come up with some ideas for vacation scenes.
