Last season really sucked and since it moved to UPN, I haven't watched it almost at all since it moved. Good thing it is leaving before it gets stall and repetitive.

Last season didn't suck it was just too dark of material for a show of this caliber, its good to have intense moments but to run an entire season of 'ohmahgawdicantbelievethatjusthappened!?!' episodes tends to disconnect viewers from the shows tired and true formula, plus it doesn't help that UPN is no where near as widely broadcast as the WB. I was a little turned off by the under tones of season six, too much death and drama for me. So far season seven has been outstanding and I'm sure Joss and Sara knew that Buffy was coming to an end long before anyone else so I think we can expect one hell of a series finale'. I do expect Duskhu to return as the slayer if there is to be a spin-off, Joss is a smart man and if he wants Eliza he is going to get her.

I'm sad to see it go but at least we have DVD's!

I've liked the entire series, and I'm sad to see it go. I had never seen it, so after my friend showed me the first couple of eps I spent the entire summer watching the whole series (and the whole Angel series). My goal was to finish them before seasons 7 and 4 started...I ended up finishing a month early! (188 eps in 78 days!!) The friend that got me hooked also didn't like season 6, but I guess since I hadn't known the characters for as long (chronologically) it didn't bother me too much. I can say that the only episode I didn't like was from season 6, though: Normal Again.

I hope they come through with a spinoff, but I'm not sure it'll be with Faith. The last news I read was that Eliza Dushku had signed a pilot deal for some kind of TV series cross between Sixth Sense and Groundhog Day. :veryconfu I hope it comes out better than it sounded in the news story.
