Good stories about sharing tips?

Anyone have any good stories about when you've shared a Disney tip?

I'll never forget being in line at SM behind a very tired and irritated young couple. They couldn't both go on because they had a young child. It was hot and near the end of the day and I could tell from the tone in both of their voices that it had been a tough day.

I know it could have appeared nosy but I spoke up and asked if they knew about child swap... they didn't. After I explained it to them their reaction was half "wow that would have made this trip much different if we had known" and half large doses of gratitude that I spoke up.

Anyone else?

My kids and I were at line to see the princesses in the judges tent. A woman was next to us with a young girl, and on her cell phone. She then hung up, called who I assumed was her husband, and started going on about "I checked all 3 places in the Magic Kingdom, I can't believe there is no place open to eat. We are just going to have to go somewhere else and it is going to take a whole load of time"

I said excuse me, but I just heard what you said. Did you check any of the monorail line restaurants, or Whispering Canyon Cafe. She looked quite confused. I explained they were just a short trip from the MK, and she could use her DDP there. That seemed to make her day.

Great story. I think DW can be very complex to those who don't have the time to research before-hand. Some people say you'd be crazy to go to DW w/o doing research ahead of time... while at the same time I'm sure there are plenty of people who would be justified in saying I'm crazy for investing as much time as I do in reading up about it in preparation for our trips.
